ANyone ever ski/ride Attitash? COmments?

Also - Any idea's where I could look to find a list of Share houses for this (N conway??) area....??

SInce the house I've been in at K-mart isnt refroming, I'm thinking of taking a year off from K-mart....and I see ASC is doing a 299 combo pass also good for Sunday River (-16 blackouts)......

I know this probably may not be the best venue for this question, but most of the posters on T4T seem to have a pretty decent clue....and very nice to boot

Ok - back to work. Thanks in advance

Attitrash/Bear Peak: Not a lot to talk about. I've had fun there, but I haven't been back since I started skiing the likes of MRG and Las Lenas. Even back then I don't recall feeling daunted by their steepest slopes when the following year I couldn't imagine skiing the blacks at MRG. I suspect, however that there may be some good woods if you search hard enough. For $299 w/ Someday Bigger it might make for a cheap and different alternative to Kmart.

Atticrash will probably dissapoint after KROCK, but having a house in the valley will have definite benefits come March. Northern VT is far and away the best winter skiing here. Some friends have a good compromise. They have a house North of Cannon, South of Jay and West of Mt.Wash. It provides great hiking access in the summer and reasonable proximity to Tucks, Jay, Cannon, Burke, Looney Toons, etc....

Yeah, between Cannon and Jay is the place to be fairly close to all the best NE has to offer.

The best part about Attitash is that Wildcat is not far away. I would much prefer to ski Wildcat over Attitash any day.

I do like the Kitty, I learned to ski there. But there still aren't any steeps.
