Just checking my trusty wx sites and it looks like the cold front coming through tonight will be real strong giving killington about 48 hours of mid 20 degrees above 2500 feet. On the down side it will be low 50s during the day from fri on till whenever. So I think 2 days gives them enough chance to blow snow and open but will they do it due to economics... Survey says negatory... :( Not until they get a longer cold streak

This is worse than PATHETIC !
The TWO WEEK forecast has nothing below 50 degrees in Philadelphia.
We need a meteorologist with expertise in temperature reduction strategies.

yeah its called have a couple volcanos erupt
Don't fret mumster. It's coming - and it can't be stopped. Think of it like a hike up that mountain - and just before the top there's a little dip where you gotta go down. But on the way down you can see the top, and it's blanketed in snow.
Say a gentel farewell to the grass, and make sure the ice scrapers are in the cars. Maybe snow tire shopping will make you feel better.

I have a different philosophy. If I plan for it, it doesn't happen. If I tune my snowblower, it doesn't snow enough to use it. I go the opposite.

Yes it's snowing in the Killington region and we're in for a short stint of chilly weather. Just as soon as a string of consistently cold weather arrives Killington snowmakers will be busy preparing...
From the horses mouth...
They are even going to get 4 inches tonight...Such a shame
