Tell me about it. The only snow we have is the stuff that got plowed or snow blown. It's just not fair. I think it's gonna start dumping in the next week or so though - I haven't spent any money on snow related activities so we should be all set.

It absolutely POURED rain today in Columbus. If even a small fraction of this makes its way to you guys in the form of snow, you're all set. My fingers are crossed for y'all. And just think, with all the snow VT got in December, the vast majority of the snow that's going to fall this season has not yet fallen. Get psyched!

I thought the rain-snow line was around the Mass Pike? :confused:
It has been :raining: here for two days, with more :raining: tomorrow. But, life isn't perfect - rain means no lift lines and no ice :icicles: . So, from my perspective, it's ok, as long as there is snow underneath :skifemcool: .
Unfortunately, it's washing away all the Poconos snow. I think we have 4 days +, of really cold weather, so at least the snow guns can fire.
Take Heart! 10 inches due in northern NH tonight.

Excerpted from Russ Murley's Sugarloaf forecast (http://www.sugarloaf.com/daily_update/russ_weather.html):
Cold air will start settling into New England this week and it will come in stages. Looks like the core of the coldest air will be here for Thursday and Friday. Temps will start to moderate by the weekend but the cold air will be re-charging and getting ready for another trip south in about ten days. The pattern has made a big change and it looks like cold temps and some real winter weather is here to stay. As far as stormy weather – we don’t see a lot of that. Some light snow and flurry activity is expected to accompany the cold air on Wednesday – we may see some light accumulation. Beyond that, there MAY be something brewing for late next weekend. That storm may carry into early next week.

More Maine weather predictions (http://www.centralmaine.com/news/local/296521.shtml):
The Arctic Express is on its way to New England. Once this storm system gets out of our way later today, the floodgates will open for some of the coldest air we've felt in quite a while. And it appears it will stick around for the remainder of the week. Unlike the topsy-turvy airmasses in December, this cold airmass will stay. Average highs in Portland for this week in January are about 32 degrees. We will be lucky to hit that today and each day coming up will get progressively colder. Nighttime lows don't appear to be record-breaking -- you would need teens for that -- but they will get mighty chilly. We're looking at lows near zero at the coast for the end of the week.
Expect very cold weather for the rest of the week, and overnight lows below zero will become common in all regions of the state, even along the coast.All aboard the Arctic Express!

Camelback is now in the 50/50 club. :(
trails = 50% snow, 50% dirt.
Still the temps are dropping, so things may improve by the weekend.
I'd love to lust for powder, but us Pocono skiers need to keep our aspirations low -> if the trails are more white than brown, we are happy. :skifemcool:
