Happy Holidays Surfy -> I see you cruising. Sorry to miss you in the Fingerlake region. Swain was fine though the skidude wasn't as fast as he wanted.
Stopped at Greek Peak on the way home -> nice glades. :D We don't get glades in the Poconos. Fun.
Life is good.

Sorry I missed you too Mums. Tell skidude that the man made at Swain is slow, that's probably why he didn't go as fast as he wanted to. Greek Peak is nice, been a few times and always had fun except for when the river in front of the lodge started to flood and was last seen washing about $60,000 of skis down river.
Bristol has been ok so far this year, I've gotten 17 days in, of which about 15 of them have been in spring conditions. Was doing pretty good until yesterday when I stretched a ligament way further than it wanted to go. 24 hours of ice, now on to the heat for a few days. Gotta get better as I've got a nonrefundable trip to Tremblant with the surfette starting Sunday. Feels much better today than yesterday so I should be ok before I start ibuprofen on Thursday.
I'm still way behind your vertical though. Lets see, 17 days at an average of 25,000 feet per day is only 425,000 feet. And I'm grounded the rest of the week while I heal. Oh well, have to do double duty next week.
Will try to make it to chat tonight as it's a bit slow at work right now.

25,000 feet a day at those micromountains? How do you do it? I only got 15,000 feet in at Swain - and 2,000 feet at Brantling (actually, I was team photographer at both, so 17,000 for 2-days may not be that bad)
I've found it difficult to get > 20,000 feet in at tiny mountains. Possible if there are no lines and high speed lifts.... :skifemcool: ...lifes challenges....

You hit it Mums. Never a line and high speed quads. I can usually do my 25,000 vertical in about 3 hours, no stops. Also trying to get Bristol to speed the quad up a bit this year as it seems slower than last year. Last year I could squeeze an extra run per hour from this year. You don't think it's me do you? I can't be slowing down can I?

No surfy, it isn't you. The lift must be slower. Grown ups get better with age. ;)
