I know there a lot of purist in this discussion, but can you helicopter ski at Tuckerman’s? If so what companies do it?

Nope... nada.. no way... the USFS is still deciding on where to build the heli pad... HoJo's deck might do actually.. too dangerous landing on Lunch Rocks.
Seriously though... no heliskiing at Tucks, sorry.
Was bad enough when there was a movement to take skiers up on the Cog... luckily it never happened.
Cheers

No helicopter pilot in his right mind would venture anywhere near that ravine - the wind shears and up/down drafts can be unbelievable! A great wat to commit suicide........

T-bar up the headwall would be fun!

you guys are all wrong... the cost to run a heli opp. and the lack of terrain in tuckermans or the entire area is why. Wind is definatley a factor but you don't think there is no wind out west. And as for a t bar that would ruin the whole thing making it just another little ski hill... Think about it
