On the 10-day forecast for Mount Washington, snow is in the forecast!!! :snowflakes: In a week, we should see the first snow with the cold air currently coming into the midwest. Maybe September won't be completely snowless after all. :)

Last week it snowed on top Mt.Washington for a little bit, that was the first snow. It was around Friday I believe.

Where was that reported? I am on www.mountwashington.org (http://www.mountwashington.org) multiple times a day, and I haven't seen any reports of first snow. Last week up there, it was above 32 deg, & rainy at times.

I can't wait for :snowflakes: and :tucks: !

It was off Mt.Washington's Office site. There was a discussion about it earlier last week. You probly could look it up in the general discussion section.

It was off Mt.Washington's Office site. Cool, thanks NTrenT! Hey, where in CT do you live? I grew up there, on the Shoreline (Essex) & went to UConn.

I think you are mistaken. Mount Washington Observatory (http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/today.html) is reported 0 snowfall this month.

Looks like we got our hopes up too soon. weather.com already changed the forecast, no longer predicting any snow. i guess long range forecasts arent very reliable. lets hope it changes back!

The leaves are turning & falling. The nights are getting cold. Only 5 or 6 weeks before the Class meet in X-Country. The snow is coming!!!

Indeed it's a-comin' your way. Big winds blew through here this afternoon and the temp in the city (Columbus) is going down to the low 40s tonight. Since we're only at 40 degrees N and 500' above sea level, I figure that bodes real well for the New England mountains in a day or two if some moisture can be added into the mix....

Some one on this board posted a link to a Mt. Washington report from the same day, a year or two ago. It was obvious in the thread that some folks didn't read the year....There has been no snow yet.
