its getting downright impossible not to think about it. I usually start thinking about the upcoming ski season after July 4th. This year never stopped, probally because I had to cancel my two trips to Tucks planned for April and May.
How are we going to make it until November?
I am definately tired of heat, humidity, mosquitos, and rain. I take driving in the snow anyday over rain. At least while driving in the snow I can think about how bad I want to call in sick the next day. And its always beautyful the day after a snow storm.
I can't wait any longer. I think I may need help. Maybe I'll consume as much  as Elwood to ease my mental distress caused by a lack of :snowflakes:
After reading your post, I went and bought my season pass for my home mountain...
$699 poorer.... But I can mountain bike and go to all the festivals and wot-not for free...

I wish I lived close enough to a mountain to call it home. Tuck is probally the closet thing to home - so I can't complain to much. I figure if I gonna drive two hours to a mountain I might as well go to tucks and ski for free. With two young kids 4 and two, free skiing is about all I can afford these days.
I might have to take a hike in late October just to get a glimps at some snow in the higher elevation.

Kfarrar, you probably got problem sending your post. If you clicked 3 times on "add reply" or just did "refresh" while it was loading, it's enough to have a double-triple post.
Me too, I would like to have a mountain to call "home". the problem is that I don't have a single ski area within 30 minutes from here... but about 30 within 1h30. Nevertheless, I plan to possibly buy a season-pass to Mt Alta (in QC) for next year. I'm getting tired to not pay for my lift tickets and I would like to help them a little bit :) (Total of 14$ for 6 ski days last year, to be exact !)

I live 10 min from Wachusett mountain although its not really a mountain more like a bump... but it is close so I get a season pass and keep my boarding skills fresh. that's the best I can do for a mountain to call home.
