Well I got up this morning....had breakfast and thought hell it is thursday I am gonna ask her now.

So I went into our room and put the ring on my pillow cuz she always ends up rolling over to my side once I get up. And of course...she is unconsious.

So I started making a bunch of noise....she would open her eyes, look at me then the ring box and go back to sleep. This happened several times and nothing.

I moved the box closer to her head and she then proceeds to roll over and rest her cheek on it and still she does not wake up. I was starting to rethink this and was gonna hide the ring again and try again this weekend out in the woods somewhere.

So with the last attempt I make more noise crawl back into bed. She then stirs and gives me one of those "what the hell are you doing I am trying to sleep looks of death" (she is not a morning gal) and then she sees the ring box. She gets all excited and I pop the question and she says yes (again).

She was totally surprised and very much awake by the time I left for work. I was trying to figure out when and where and it just seemed right this morning.

A great way to start off our Thursday. Thursdays have been good to us...my flight out to meet her in person was on a thursday, for what ever reason when I sent flowers they would arrive in seattle on thursday and most of the mail I sent to her and some of the stuff she sent to me arrived on thursdays so today had to be the day.

I stood up for a guy that got married at the top of Blackcomb he married his high school sweethart. We tied abunch of beer cans to their bindings for the "first run". I like the idea of a first run before first dance.
