Going to Cannon tommorow. 2 for $40 day. Not the best snow day, but a few of us here at work got some Vaca to use before we loose. We'll be all over the mountain - group of 4-5 I thinks. Me in Chrome Dome and white jacket as usual.

Freebird and I were at Cannon on Saturday. Great conditions on most trails and even found a few turns of pow here and there. Met lots of great people, and hiked to the summit with one such person to explore the thrills and no frills of Mittersill.

The way this guy brought us down Mittersill was one of the most exciting and challening runs that I've had in the past few years. Much of the challenge was due to small fir trees that stuck a foot or two above the surface of the snow causing you to catch an edge... and with as tight as the lines were, there was no option for recovery from a fall :)

If you have the old scratch boards and a couple of vehicles a Tuckerbrook report would be well received. Please don't scratch the nice new ones just to get a report back to us.

I'll have tuckerbrook on the mind, and the rock skiis ready. Will report if we go, but then it's gonna R*** and all bets will be off.

The Gondola and Quad aren't running today though - Dunno if I can talk the crew into the initial hike.
