Just saw on Channel 9 WMUR snews(NH tv news station for those that did not know) that projected totals guestimates that higher elevs in the whites... Eastern side of state... will be getting 17-22" ! A bounty for sure... Other areas in the whites 10-17" and west down to Sunapee/Cardigan 10-14".

Most of the snow up north will continue into Monday afternoon but very windy... Tuesday? Bluebird heaven! http://www.techsourceconsultants.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/10020/grinnin.gif

With still quite a bit of fresh to be found in the trees.
Has snowed about 2-3 inches so far, not much, and the roads are not bad with ground temps in the valley about 32. Stull waiting for the big storm, and wondering whether to ski wildcat, cannon, mrg, or jay...i think the roads will decide...

Currently at 9:35 PM there is 9.6 inches of fresh snow outside my door in Sunapee, NH. Doesn't appear to be letting up anytime soon.

Smuggs this morning had wind packed powder....and Madonna 1 lift down...with full parking lots, Sterling lift had a looooong line...worht the wait tho'. I hiked over towards Spruce peak, noting that the spruce lift was turning slower than usual (wind was HONKING) up on the ridge top.
I took the route over to my usual fav (Aerosmith to Lindsay's Leap)...other's were ahead of me but that didn't prevent fresh turns from being easily found...really stiff snow - a knee deep drift would stop me almost dead....no complaints - good way to start off the day with the right attitude...

happy trails!
