For intrepid skiers who may be considering a Winter trip to the Chic-chocs, Mont Saint Pierre offers some options for 500m ski descents. The two couloirs on the lookers right are rated about WI 2 and have been skied. With a rap over the mixed terrain at the top and some favorable snow conditions, these could be interesting.

looks awesome, is there a way to get conditions updates without driving 11 hours though?

btw, we skied diagonal yesterday, thanks for the weather update from your HR/TUX trip report. we probably wouldn't have tried it without it.

Post up on the Diagonal conditions!

Call up the tourism contact woman in the mini guide and ask. She's a climber and can come up with conditions. You can certainly find more lines to ski up there. There are tons in and around the park.
