The trees are amazing! I have to agree. Been there once this past year, and absolutely fell in love with the place!! It was one of the best days I've EVER had skiing!! :skiplow:

I've been in love with Jay Peak since my friend introduced me a few years ago. Likewise, I've made quite a few day trips from far Southern New Hampshire to ski their always deep powder and it's forever been worth it. Last Valentines day was truely the best though. All you could drink Champagne powder with clear sky (a rareity there).
Some pictures taken the day I was there last year (http://www.djangobliss.com/viewreview.html?revid=16)
Did you get your name from Django Rienhardt...?
Jazz guitar pioneer?

Nice pics....thanks I needed that.
The Yankee Freezer is the only negative part of the Jay experience...but the terrain from that ride more than makes up for it.
Want pow? Think Jay!

the cool thing about Jay is their consistancey. Granted I do time most of my trips with a favourable storm cycle but even when there is not fresh the goods can be found and it remains soft and light and happy. They have a big expansion planed along the ridge past Beyond Beaver Pond. They promise more glades and three lifts.
Gonna be sweet(er).

Yes indeed ;) Few people recognize that fact.
Beyond Beaver Pond is absolutely the best. So much fun to be found there. When is that expansion supposed to happen?
