After several tries, I finally got a view from the top of Camel's Hump. Check out some of the pics I took today:
Le Lion Couchant off in the distance on the approach:

On my way up, I saw a couple of rocks. I was really lichen this rock:

Approaching the Lion:

If you look real close, do you see the plane in the middle of the picture?

Who can name the mountain in the distance?

Nice pix, elwood. Soon it will have :snowflakes:
Kewl pix: When you fly from BTV to ASH (nashua) you fly right by the hump. I like to stay at hump altitude as I fly by and look right over at the folks on the top.
Camels hump story: There's two distinct peeks up at the top... once we were up there and one peek was a topless peek. I wasn't allowed over there... but I brought my binoculars!

What a view. Looks like a great day. Too bad no snow, but soon enough it will fall.

That's a really cool mountain. I haven't been there since I passed by on the Long Trail a few years ago, but I remember I saw what was quite possibly the best sunset of my life from the top there...
M@- You fly too? I don't actually have my pilot's license yet, but I fly with an instrument-rated friend often, usually from the left seat, and I also like flying along the ridge of the Greens; quite impressive

Yahooo...nice shots!
That would be Mansefield? Just a guess, I've not seen it from that angle before.

Closest mountain in that shot looks like bolton, with Mansfield behind it.
Nice shots.

-KM First two weeks of August. Wish I could have been skiing that stuff but, of course, on the ground people were dropping dead from the heatwave.
snow soon,

How would they work on somebody in the back? That's something else. Maybe it steers like a skateboard Jolly. "Everybody lean, prego!"

I have no idea, Maybe they just throw the person in the back and booter to the hospital. Beats me...
