Camping next monday.

My friend and I are getting out of college this weekend and are making the pilgrimmage for the first time to Tuck's. Since it is a 2 and a half hour drive from hour town we would rather camp out. I was wondering if getting a spot in a shelter in the late after noon on monday is out of the question? Also, are the crowds considerably less on weekdays than on weekends?

late afternoon monday you should be able to get an entire lean-to! No problem getting a spot I'd bet. *Unless* every other college in the world is letting out and everyone else has the same idea! Pretty doubtfull though.

Weekday crowds are very small. Sometimes 10-20 ppl in the bowl. (vs. weekend thousands)

Matt, check out the Dolly Copp campground. It is just down the road from the ravine. I have camped there a couple of times on this same weekend and have never had any difficulty getting a spot.
