I just noticed - it's August 11th, the TR snow is gone, and there are 12 people currently cruising the T4T website. It's gotta be the worlds best messageboard....taking on a life of its own.

My bad...sliding on snow by any means is addictive...let's see, how may different converyances for sliding:
sticks or stick;
tubes(plastic or rubber);
toboggans;
sleds (plastic or any of the kin to the great "Rosebud");
saucers;
snow wings;
and the myriad snow-cycles (etc).

It's good to know there are more of us winter lovers out there. People at work think I am nuts when I keep counting down the days till next season out loud.

no more snow........maybe we could pool our $$$ and buy 2 or 3 hundred snow cone machines and cover elwoods back yard!! he has two of the largest dogs known to man and they could pull us up and down the hills through out the neigborhood! :rolleyes:

Even though the snow is gone at TR :( , I just received my first 2 ski magazines in the mail when I came home tonight :skiplow: !! Did that make my day!! Especially with this lovely humid air that just won't seem to go away!! Has anyone out there seen the sun for longer then 1/2 hour at a time in the past 1 1/2 weeks? I hiked Carter Dome and Mt Hight on Saturday, I think I saw the sun for about 20 minutes total. Started pouring rain about 1 hour to the end, was quite fun though. THINK SNOW :snowflakes: :snowflakes:

A sure thing, I had never thought to find a community of winter lovers like this one ! Keep on praying... snow will come soon in the ravine. Hmm, this gives me an idea... see new topic :D :D :D

There are so many posts on this MB that I don't have time to :atwork: anymore.

I may need to schedule in my T4T breaks so I can get some work done....
