...I know it was weak and bad...
Anyway: There I was, putting in some time on the "Stein Way" (distant ancester of the "Skier's Edge") and watching Warren Miller's "Fifty" on the box..
Clack,rumble,clack,rumble,clack,rumb...okay, you get the idea. And right there in the Donna Weinbrecht(sp?) Waterville Valley (why oh why did they go there?) segment, when the male skier rips into the air....wham, it hits me.
That's North Slide in the background. Don't let the distance get you too messed up...the top of North Slide is a bunch higher than the terrain in the shoot and it's at the same elevation as the top of the highest lift.
