Looks like SR @ $58. Pretty lame. Any discounts or better places? Not up for the drive to N.VT for skinning.

lookin for a discount on a weekend? funny. skiing on weekends? even more funny. work m-f, make the big bucks? ski the weekends? gotta pay the big bucks. all part of the program. with a few inches of snow possible thurs/fri and with the desparately glacial base in places, some skinning for free could be had. there are cheaper tickets at the lesser talked about ski areas out there. good luck, monday could be killer.

I'm no advocate of K-Mart these days, but I have to say, their website reports a lot of trails open, they've got the altitude up high and the aspect to retain snow, and I'm tellin' ya, I couldn't believe how uncrowded the place was last year when I went up on the Mogul Challenge weekend, of all times. Not a line in sight, and conditions were unreal. I grabbed run after run of shin-deep on Devil's Fiddle before others caught on. And they didn't have the South Triple running, so I had the runs over there all to myself, and they were fantastic, even if I had to schlep all the way back to Bear Mountain to get back up top. You may be selling yourself short by not giving it a try.

I talked to the Pico folks at the Ski show in Boston, and then mentioned you can't skin since it's private property. Sort of figured they had to say they since I am pretty sure I saw a TR or two on that....Oh only closed to non VTers you say?
-May hit the Pee for Sunday, December 7th is Cares and Shares Day. Bring five non-perishable food items to the ticket window and ski or ride all day for only $30.
Looks like 4 trails from the top. I am solo and will be on Monster 82s and have a blue Cloudveil shell/black pants.
Update: Conditions were pretty good. Left at 12:30. Solid 1/2 day of top to bottom runs. There were really only 3 runs from the top.
