Ski clubs in MWV, any beta?

Hi,
I came accross this site when I was looking into ski clubs in Jackson. Apparently there are quite a few of them and they all seem to have a base in the greater Boston area. Anyone know the current dynamics of the clubs and how the accomadations are?

Several of our regulars are in some ski club or other.

Boston Ski and Sports is kind of a hoot. Lots of summer stuff too.

One of the clubs in Bartlet is a long time favorite with many T4T for their hospitality and congeniality.

That would be The Brettl-Hupfers (http://www.brettl.org/Welcome.php). EDIT! Don't skip the intro!

If one thinks about it from a certain point of view, The AMC is a ski club with low dues and decent room rates...but you have to reserve in advance, meals are extra (but very good) and there's no onsite "roaring". On the plus side...Locations! Crawford or Pinkham...put the skis on the snow right out the door or drive five minutes or 1 minute to the nearby lift served ski area.

Thanks for the responce RR. That intro certainly is a hout. I like Joe Dodge, but the membership price of the clubs is very attractive. I am trying to narrow the search and then visit 3 or 4. Any one else?
